FAQ

  • It all depends on you and on the season. Of course, there are some things that are a must no matter the day, like sunglasses. Our yacht is stocked with all the needed amenities, so forget about towels or sunscreen—we have you covered. Just get your swimsuit, some warm clothes for windy days, and comfortable shoes for going on excursions. We have phone chargers too! 

  • We can virtually pick you up anywhere! While in Newport, we can pick you up at your hotel, Perroti Park, Goat Island, or any of the yacht clubs. We have arrangements with several docks and can pick you up at the one closest to your accommodations. For charters in other ports, we will make arrangements for wharfage closest to where you will be.

  • Absolutely! You may bring whatever beverages you prefer. We have an extremely cold refrigerator and provide ice and water at no charge. Our galley provides custom Yeti cups to keep your drinks cold, and we have everything else you need for an unforgettable afternoon. We’re not able to provide alcoholic beverages due to USCG and insurance regulations. We can share where to shop and help with pick-up before the charter if needed.
    Note: Anyone who is age 21 or older is allowed to consume alcohol. We ask that you please drink responsibly. If a guest is being belligerent or is a safety hazard, the captain reserves the right to return to the pick-up spot and end the charter. If a charter ends due to excessive, extreme, or drunken behavior, we will charge the full charter amount and cannot issue a refund. 

  • According to statistics, 90% of people are prone to motion sickness. But our yacht is very stable, and we don’t sail in bad weather - we stay in Newport harbor until conditions improve. Most people tolerate easy rolling, and taking motion-sickness tablets completely removes the discomfort. 

  • A 50% deposit is required upon signing our contract for your private boat charter. The final payment is due 10 business days before the event. We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfers, Zelle and Venmo.

  • Tipping is completely up to the charter guests, though a 15% tip is customary when chartering a yacht.

  • For your private charter, the total charter amount is returned if canceled more than 15 days in advance. A refund of 75% of the total charter amount if canceled 14 days in advance of the charter date (half the deposit is returned). A refund of 50% of the total charter amount if canceled between 14 and 5 days before the charter date (the deposit is forfeited).

  • Cancellations due to weather are made only by the owner/captain for the safety of the vessel, crew, and guests. This decision can be made up to one hour before departure. A full refund or the option to reschedule without penalty is available if the Captain cancels due to weather. If the Charterer wishes to reschedule for any reason, a 25% rescheduling fee will apply, provided at least 5 days’ notice is given. If the Charterer wishes to reschedule due to weather predictions or for any reason without the Captain’s consent within 5 days of the event, a 50% rescheduling fee is applied.
